About Me

Hello! Thanks for stopping through :)

My name is Sarah Perry. I have been a Mom for just over 2 years and still work hard to find balance in my day to day life as a Mom, while figuring out Me in the process. For the last 10 years I have pretty much hidden away from the world, mostly out of fear and feeling like my words had no value. But, everyone deserves to be heard, and as time goes on, I'm learning that more and more. Living As We was born through this journey of figuring out what makes Me tick as a human being, not just as a Mom, as well as my desire to find balance.

Living with IBS, anxiety and depression, there are ups, and downs. Some days are better than others, and you just kind of have to take the good with the bad and be thankful for the good times. I've had troubles with keeping a job due to these problems and wound up hiding myself away, partially out of shame. I felt like I wasn't a contributing member of society since I couldn't work a normal job.  Blogging has done amazing things for my health so far, and I only hope that things continue to improve in that department. It's given me a voice. That is irreplaceable, especially after feeling like it was lost a long time ago.

My daughter Emily, and my cats will make appearances every once in awhile, so I hope you enjoy getting to know my little family. They keep me busy needless to say, but I wouldn't have it any other way sometimes that's just what I need. Always the explorer, Emily enjoys discovering new things, and has renewed that sense of discovery in me, as an adult.

Here, you'll find reviews, giveaways and plenty of news, struggles, and triumphs, in between. We look forward to sharing our adventures with you as we find our way and hope you'll follow along our journey!
