Desserts in a Jar!! What could be better! They sound easy overall - I love the ideas. And the small tips are so useful, esp. when you don't bake as much as others might. The thing about using the pure maple sugar was interesting - and I learned that "Pure maple syrup is actually a healthy sweetener. It provides manganese, zinc, potassium and riboflavin, among other nutrients." Makes this recipe even better!! Thanks - I'd love to win!!

  7. I just entered in the giveaway, I hope i will win InshaAllah !

This recipe sounds and looks yummy! I love pure Maple Syrup, it can't be beat. This would be a very nice addition to my cook book collection. The Make Ahead Recipes are an especially nice added touch and such a time saver for any busy woman today.

  9. CC of comment I left under the Dessert in a Jar post:

The book sounds like a lot of fun - and would make a nice gift for a number of people I can think of right off the top of my head!

As for this particular recipe - I already know it will be really yummy because I have enjoyed the delicious combination of Mango and Peaches ever since I was a little kid and my grandma moved to Florida and she grew all of these wonderful fruit in her yard...No peach trees but lots and lots of mangos. She would buy the peaches at the market and make all kind of delicious concoctions using the combo: Peach & Mango Mousse, Mango-Peach Bread, and wonderful, wonderful fresh Fruit Salad...

The whole concept of making desserts in a jar is fun - and I have to wholeheartedly agree that when it comes to "maple syrup" one should always splurge and buy the REAL and PURE thing - aside from tasting SO much better - and the health benefits versus the all around bad for you cheaper "pancake syrups." Pure Maple Syrup is worth every extra cent! Thanks
