The 2013 Back to School Social Party

Hi Everyone! Thanks for stopping by my little piece of cyberspace. This is such a wonderful way for us all to connect.

Up until last year I didn't understand the true meaning behind "blogging". I began entering giveaways on a few blogs that I had discovered. One giveaway led to two, and on and on. Only, after awhile, I felt like I was taking from people and not giving anything back. I am just not that kind of person. I found that I liked a majority of what I had won, and was wanting to share my thoughts just as I had enjoyed reading about other peoples' opinions. I thought it would be a great idea to write my own book reviews, since I was winning so many great books along the way. I started my first blog, Just Trying to Let it Be in March 2013 and dedicated it to books. I later decided that books weren't my only passion in life, that what I was truly passionate about, was writing.

Living As We was born in June 2013 out of my love for writing, cooking, fashion, books, and helping others. Here, you'll find reviews on products I like, Recipes, LOTS of giveaways, as well as posts on other random life topics.

One of the topics I write about sometimes is my issue with Anxiety, IBS and my occasional bouts of depression. It's been tough to find acceptance anywhere in life. But blogging has been therapeutic in a way, and has opened me up to a different kind of social interaction. A year ago I wouldn't have even dreamed of leaving a comment on a someone's page or tweeting to someone. Blogging has given me back my voice, not only as a mom, but as a human being. I appreciate all of the support that you, my readers, show me, especially while I'm still working out the kinks. :)
